Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT)
ACT 3-year Full Likelihood
Oct-2013 Updated likelihood v2 released with updated ACT beams, and includes an improved binning of the spectra. As reported in the ACT papers, the effect on cosmological parameters is small, less than 0.1 sigma for the majority, up to a maximum of 0.2 sigma. This version also includes the newer Story et al 2012 SPT data at large scales as the default, instead of the Keisler et al 2012 SPT data.
This is the software used by the ACT collaboration to compute the multi-frequency likelihood of cosmological models, using the small-scale microwave power spectra measured by ACT from 500 < l < 10000 from the 3-year data (2008-2010 observations). The software also includes analysis of published data from the South Pole Telescope. It is based on the WMAP team's likelihood software.
This software is written in Fortran 90. It requires the LAPACK library.
A single tarball is supplied, containing the multi-frequency likelihood and data for ACT (at 148 and 218 GHz), as well as for SPT from the Keisler et al. 2011 and Reichardt et al. 2012 analyses (at 95, 150, and 220 GHz). The likelihood should be passed a lensed CMB power spectrum, as well as a set of secondary parameters describing the SZ and foreground emission. See the readme.txt file for more information.
To build, modify the Makefile to reflect your system's environment. Then
> make # Compiles the likelihood software and builds a test program.
> ./test # Runs the test program.
