Description

Caswell (1976) presented a map of the 10 MHz radio emission over a large portion of the sky north of -5°, derived from observations made with the Penticton T-shaped array of the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory (DRAO). The resolution of the telescope (EW x NS) is 2.6° x 1.9° secant(zenith angle). LAMBDA obtained the main-beam brightness temperature data from the Max Planck Institute for Radioastronomy Survey Sampler site on a celestial coordinate grid. The data were interpolated to a Galactic coordinate HEALPix projection using cubic convolution interpolation.
