Research

Kent works on problems in galactic and extragalactic astronomy with a strong interest in the dynamics of stellar systems. He is heavily
involved in the Sloan Digital Sky survey project, which is obtaining digital images of 1/4 of the sky and spectra of 1 million galaxies and quasars.
