Padman has continued to develop the SPECX single-dish spectral-line data reduction program. In collaboration with Meyerdierks (University of Edinburgh) and Tilanus (JACH, Hawaii) she has also ported it to the common unix platforms supported by Starlink.
Alexander has applied a number of techniques originally developed for use in radio astronomy to problems in MRI (Baigou et al. 1993), including the fractal analysis of porous pellet structures (Gladden, Alexander & Hollewand, in press), and a new technique for chemical-shift MRI imaging (Baldwin, Alexander & Gladden, in press). Alexander has also developed an X-window front-end to the popular gnuplot program (Alexander & Gladden, in press).
