MRAO hosted the XXVIIth Young European Radio Astronomers Conference (YERAC), 1994 September 18th to 23rd. The conference brought together about fifty young radio astronomers from twelve different European countries. This meeting continued a series of successful YERAC meetings that have been held every year since 1968.
The Local Organizing Committee was Dr D.A. Green (Chairman), Mr G. Cotter, Ms J. Dennett-Thorpe and Mr K. Grainge. Electronic proceedings are to be made available on the World-Wide Web by Cambridge University Press.
Members of the group also presented papers at conferences, as listed below, during the two-year period covered by this report. Attendance at conferences indicated by a * was partially supported by the SERC/PPARC rolling grant; other sources of funding include Royal Society and University travel grants, college funds, and, in the case of students, RTSG and PPARC studentships.
