The 7C survey covers most of the northern hemisphere above a declination of 20°, but generally away from the Galactic plane, at 151 MHz, with a resolution of 70×70 cosec(declination) arcsec2 (EW×NS) (i.e., about four times better resolution than the 6C survey); a separate survey with resolution 108×108 cosec(declination) arcsec2 covers a strip between declinations 20° and 35° to provide some intermediate resolution data to the south of 6C.
The northern Galactic plane is covered by the 7C(G) survey.
The 7C source lists in computer readable form at MRAO are now in a
standardised format; you can retrieve
all of them by ftp or
single sections from the ftp link beside each section below.
Note that the lowdec survey at intermediate resolution 108 x 108cosec(dec)
arcsec2 has its own standard format.
Caveat ! Journal tables retrievable from the data centres and via the literature reference links listed below are in the same format as printed in the journal (where applicable), which in some cases will be non-standard with respect to the overall survey.
