The Astrophysics Detector Laboratory is where the superconducting detectors, discussed in the Superconducting Detectors section, are tested. The laboratory contains several optical benches and a number of liquid helium test Dewars. The Dewars range from standard 4K Dewars, 300mK He3 fridges to a helium dilution refridgerator. The laboratory is currently undergoing refurbishment to accomodate several additional Dewars we have recently acquired.
