You most likely need to add your sources into catalog form using the catalog  program. You can either do this interactively, or through a table file in a specific format. Next, you can use checksource , and perhaps distance , to figure which sources are present during which LST range, and plan accordingly. The program mint can be used to simulate taking an observation (scan) for a specified amount of time.
