• Discussion of Soumen's results linked from Aug 9 telecon notes - The “INPUT” line is clearly incorrect - goes down at higher ell way too much from A_L=1 to A_L=0.03. Not clear what “RESIDUAL FOREGROUND” means - if it is just the difference between input and output maybe the algorithm is actually working quite well…
• Discuss report outline: 0.5 page foreground prob, 0.5 page simulations, 0.5 page each method and results
• Brandon reminds there was an error in MHD sim dust foreground (model 96) factor 2 too low in U - decide to live with it for now
• Josquin has a sim method which works at power spectrum level (no maps) - are we interested? Jacques to investigate.
