Agenda

Minutes

  • Actions: Andrea implementing c) i) for PICO. After that we can decide if need gain variation.
  • Brendan: Ask thermal engineer at JPL to get estimates on thermal variations in the intrument? Is there also possibility of estimating polarized emission and IP from the optics?
  • Action Item [Joy]: how are the maps with systematics going to be evaluated?
    • Shaul first wants effect to be evaluated on only CMB + noise, no lensing or foregrounds.
    • Josquin could take in maps with systematics and run them through pipeline including foreground separation and estimate sigma_r
  • Action Item [Graca]: email Lloyd to ask about data challenge pipeline
  • Action Item [Brendan]: What is the scope of Brad’s work with GRASP?
  • Action Item [Joy]: Talk to Shaul and get readout / detector noise estimates for PICO
    • Shaul agrees readout noise shouldn't dominate
    • Brendan's email exchange with Roger seems enough to use 10 mHz estimate for f_knee
  • Action Item [Brendan]: Get estimate on polarization angle calibration from Planck
