- Maurizio: update on gain stability
- Toast Bug: Ted Kisner had identified the bug, says it is easy to fix. Promised a fix by the morning of April 12.
- Maurizio will meet with Andrea Zonca tomorrow (April 12) to discuss the PICO simulation
- Jacques discusses sidelobe pickup calculations for PICO (.pdf)
- Galactic pick up had been observed with Planck at the highest frequencies with HFI and at the lowest frequencies with LFI.
- Maurizio says that the LFI dipole had been convolved with expected sidelobes from the GRASP model. Jacques is not sure about the HFI case.
- There is some discussion about the relative comparison of the expected sidelobe pickup for Planck and PICO by the galaxy. This will likely go into the report.
- There is also some discussion about whether PICO should have an extra black baffling around the primary to limit the spill-over around the primary.
- The Planck references are the Tauber etal 2010 optics paper, and the Planck 2013 calibration paper.
