Simulated Data Descriptions

Map Types

Map Type Description
Unlensed CMB Unlensed primary microwave background.
Lensed CMB Lensed primary microwave background (see below).
Thermal SZ Thermal Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect from galaxy clusters, groups, and the intergalactic medium.
Kinetic SZ Kinetic Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect from galaxy clusters, groups, and the intergalactic medium.
Full SZ Thermal plus kinetic Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effects, plus relativistic corrections, from galaxy clusters, groups, and the intergalactic medium.
Radio Galaxies Radio galaxies correlated with the galaxy clusters and groups.
Infrared Galaxies Infrared galaxies correlated with the galaxy clusters and groups.
Galactic Dust Emission from Galactic dust.
Combined Skymap Sum of all microwave components (lensed CMB, thermal and kinetic SZ plus relativistic corrections, infrared and radio galaxies, and Galactic dust).

Lensing Data Availability

The original Nside=4096 HEALPix unlensed primary CMB map that was used for the lensing process, as well as the original Nside=4096 lensed primary CMB map (before the resolution was changed to Nside=8192 with the alter_alm subroutine in the HEALPix distribution) can be made available upon request.

Sky Map Units

The maps are in units units of Jy/steradian. Conversions factors are provided below to convert from Jy/steradian to ΔT/Tcmb; divide a map by the relevant factor to convert it. These factors are frequency dependent.
