• PyRAF: A version of the widely used IRAF environment with Python acting as the scripting/command language and some nice graphics capabilities. Produced by the Space Telescope Science Institute.
• Eclipse: A modern C-based low-level data processing package, also callable from python. Produced by European Southern Observatory.
