The QUIJOTE (Q-U-I JOint TEnerife) CMB Experiment is a scientific collaboration between the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (Tenerife, Spain), the Instituto de Física de Cantabria (Santander, Spain), the Departamento de Ingenieria de COMunicaciones (Santander, Spain), the Jodrell Bank Observatory (Manchester, UK), the Cavendish Laboratory (Cambridge,UK), and the IDOM company (Spain). It will start operations during 2008, and it consists in two similar antennas dedicated to measure the polarization of the microwave sky in the frequency range between 11 GHz and 30GHz, and at angular scales of 1°.
