CMB implications on the equation of state of dark energy.
Talk given the RAS meeting on The Cosmic Microwave Background and Fundamental Physics.
Abstract:
In this talk, I quickly review the experimental evidence for non-zero dark energy and te potential candidates. I explain how the CMB is affected by dark energy and what values can be expected for its equation of state. I show constraints obtained from CMB data and other cosmological data sets and conclude by mentioning future and ongoing work on the subject.
