The Microwave Anisotropy Telescope (MAT) is a collaboration between the physics departments of Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania. The experiment uses a high altitude site in Northern Chile for observations of the anisotropy in the CMB between 30 and 150 GHz. The project is based on a successful balloon telescope called QMAP, which was flown in June and November 1996.

Penn maintains a MAT site here.
