ACT Data Products - 277 GHz Temperature Maps
These files contain the Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) temperature maps at 277 GHz. Production of the maps are described in Dunner et al (2013), "The Atacama Cosmology Telescope: Data Characterization and Mapmaking". The equatorial 277 GHz map (act_data_map_277ghz_equatorial_2010.fits) is described in Gralla et al (2019), "Atacama Cosmology Telescope: Dusty star-forming galaxies and active galactic nuclei in the equatorial survey."
These data have been used soley for the study of millimeter emission and the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect in compact sources. Caution is advised for studies of larger modes, as in angular power spectrum studies.
The units of the maps are µK-CMB, expressing deviations from the average measured intensity as equivalent fluctuations in the CMB in units of micro-Kelvin.
