Description

SZ cluster catalog

The file E-D56Clusters.fits is a FITS table that combines the information from Tables A1-A3 in the ACTPol two-season cluster catalog paper. It can be viewed with any compatible viewer, e.g., TopCat, or read into Python using the astropy.table module.

The columns contain the following information:

Column Name Description
Name Name of the cluster
RADeg J2000 right ascension of the cluster in decimal degrees
decDeg J2000 declination of the cluster in decimal degrees
SNR Signal-to-noise ratio, optimized over all filter scales
SNR2p4 Signal-to-noise ratio at the reference 2.4 arcmin filter scale
y0tilde Cluster central Compton parameter measured at the 2.4 arcmin filter scale (x 10-4)
y0tilde_err 1-sigma uncertainty on the cluster central Compton parameter measured at the 2.4 arcmin filter scale (x 10-4)
H13Match 1 if the cluster is matched to an object in the Hasselfield et al. (2013) ACT equatorial cluster catalog; 0 otherwise
PSZ2Match 1 if the cluster is matched to an object in the Planck 2015 PSZ2 SZ cluster catalog; 0 otherwise
RMMatch 1 if the cluster is matched to an object in the redMaPPer v5.10 cluster catalog (Rykoff et al. 2014); 0 otherwise
AltName Alternative name for this object (generally the closest match listed on NED)
BCG_RADeg J2000 right ascension of the brightest cluster galaxy in decimal degrees
BCG_decDeg J2000 declination of the brightest cluster galaxy in decimal degrees
z Redshift of the cluster
zErr Uncertainty on the cluster redshift (if photometric; 0 if spectroscopic)
zType Redshift type (spec = spectroscopic, phot = photometric)
zSource Source of the redshift (see notes in Table A2 in the paper for more details)
deltaSDSS zCluster density contrast statistic as measured using SDSS photometry, measured at the zCluster photometric redshift

deltaSOAR zCluster density contrast statistic as measured using APO/SOAR photometry, measured at the zCluster photometric redshift
deltaSOAR_err 1-sigma uncertainty on the zCluster density contrast statistic as measured using APO/SOAR photometry, measured at the zCluster photometric redshift
M500cUPP M500 with respect to the critical density at the cluster redshift in units of 1014 MSun; assuming the UPP and Arnaud et al. (2010) scaling relation to convert SZ signal to mass, uncorrected for bias due to the steepness of the cluster mass function

M500cUPP_errMinus Negative 1-sigma error on M500 in units of 1014 MSun
M500cUnc M500 with respect to the critical density at the cluster redshift in units of 1014 MSun; assuming the UPP and Arnaud et al. (2010) scaling relation to convert SZ signal to mass, uncorrected for bias due to the steepness of the cluster mass function
M500cUnc_errPlus Positive 1-sigma error on M500 in units of 1014 MSun
M500cUnc_errMinus Negative 1-sigma error on M500 in units of 1014 MSun

M500cCal_errPlus Positive 1-sigma error on M500 in units of 1014 MSun
M500cCal_errMinus Negative 1-sigma error on M500 in units of 1014 MSun

The file QTab.fits is a FITS table that contains the values of Q(M500, z) and 500 plotted as the diamonds in Fig. 7 of the ACTPol two-season cluster catalog paper. It can be viewed with any compatible viewer, e.g., TopCat, or read into Python using the astropy.table module. One can use this file to calculate the value of Q for the UPP model with 2.4' as the reference filter scale by doing a spline interpolation between the points.
