The information provided here came from the Explanatory Supplement to the Planck Early Release Compact Source Catalogue; see that document for details concerning the contents of, usage of, and cautionary notes concerning the catalogue. The Planck team has released the "Early Release Compact Source Catalogue (ERCSC)." The ERCSC consists of a set of single frequency source lists, one each for the Planck frequencies. The lists are stored in FITS tables and contain 35 columns per source for each LFI band and 36 columns for each HFI band. Two additional lists are provided: one listing 915 Cold Cores of interstellar molecular clouds with the Galaxy and one listing 189 galaxy clusters detected through the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect. Only the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich catalog is available through LAMBDA; it may also be queried and/or cross-correlated with many other tables through Browse. The key columns in the ERCSC are:
