Nov 2004 - SORRY!
Despite our efforts to revive it, the live webcam at McMurdo is permantly down. It was installed in 2000 and has lasted a little over 4 years. Considering the harsh conditions of Antartica, it was often suprising to us that the webcam had lasted that long.

From the comments we got about the webcam, we know how much it meant to some people to have this window into the lives of friends and family at McMurdo and we regret not being able to bring it back. May all those who venture to Antartica achieve their aims and return safe and sound.
